Meet Our Founder
After teaching through the pandemic, I realized traditional classrooms weren't designed to meet kids where they were—especially when my third graders' skills ranged from kindergarten to fourth-grade levels. Despite my passion for teaching, I knew the system wasn't built to nurture the whole child. So I took a leap of faith, left the classroom, and discovered mentorship that transformed my approach. Learning about emotional intelligence and the mind-body-spirit connection, I kept thinking: "Every child deserves this."
That revelation led me to private education, where I blended academic rigor with social-emotional growth—and Enlighten Minds was born. Today, we’re a microschool that celebrates each child’s uniqueness through personalized, multi-sensory learning. Here, education isn’t just about books and tests; it’s about raising confident, curious learners who understand themselves and the world around them. This is the school I wish I’d had as a teacher—and the one I’m proud to offer families today.
